We work with a family run mill in County Donegal, Ireland, who use the highest quality pure merino lambswool. Each scarf is designed and woven in the village of Downings on the Atlantic Wilderness Coast.
Today the company is run by WIlliam McNutt who took the business over from his father. The family set up the mill in the 1950's weaving Donegal tweed. They became renowned in the 1970s at the height of the material's popularity, it was very fashionable and internationally renowned designers crossed the globe to collaborate with the mill on new fabric designs.
