Maker: A Franco-Brazilian artist, Chica Boyriven studied at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, where she took drawing and painting classes in Alechinsky's studio. Her interest in the botanical prints of the great travelers of the 17th and 18th centuries led her to refine her skills in engraving, plant-based papermaking and natural dyeing. This passion also shows in her sculpture and painting, often inspired by the culture of Latin America.
