Product : this cushion is a one of a kind piece by skilled artisans in South Africa. Hand embroidered motifs of a Bird Garden, onto thick untreated cotton. Each piece is the individual creation of an artisan, who interprets the title in her own way.

Creator: Heartworks was founded in Cape Town in 2005 as a springboard for a group of seropositive and marginalised women who were trained in an embroidery workshop. United by their talent within Heartworks, these women, from South Africa, Congo and Zambia, are true artists. Each of their works constitutes a unique piece of collection worthy of "haute couture" creations. The group now involves more than 30 women, enabling them to generate a decent income and acquire the confidence to move forward.
