Having grown up in the city known for its trade and crafts, the three students decided to work with leather and create products that would appeal to their generation.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eJelld strives to reinvigorate Hebron's traditional leather industry through creativity and contemporary designs. Their workshop is in the village of Dura, where young artisans design prototypes and finalize the products for distribution. The hand sewing and assembly work is given to young people, women from disadvantaged families and people with disabilities in the area.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eJelld products are made from top-quality natural leather coming directly from the Zaatari tannery, one of Hebron's artisan families, many generations old. The cowhide comes mainly from the Gaza Strip and the goat leather from farms in the West Bank.
